Reverend Marcia Howland recounts her life from the Dust Bowl days of Oklahoma to becoming a pioneer in the field of women in the ministry. Married to a minister for over 50 years, she tells about their travels and adventures in missions and what inspired her to complete her own ministerial education while raising a family and serving as an educator in their local congregations. She has led a rich and varied life and continues to pursue her educational dreams by studying for her doctorate in religious studies at Trinity Seminary. With her own Native American background, she brings a special gift of approaching spirituality as a universal human experience. As a hospice chaplain, her gentle, low-key nature is enhanced by playing the harmonica for her hospice patients and touching their soul in ways that most others can't.
